Hey, I’m Maria!
A writer, traveler and personal development advisor dedicated to helping you create the life you want. I define myself as a highly sensitive person and an introvert, which helps me understand your problems better and provide advice and encouragement in a safe and supportive environment.
If you consider yourself a sensitive person, an introvert, a creative or a romantic, you have found the right place for you. Because what all of these have in common is a higher level of sensitivity and perception than the majority of people. I created this blog because I know how it feels to be sensitive – being overaroused by stimulation, absorbing the surrounding atmosphere and moods, caring too much, being conscientious and perfectionistic, perceiving the nuances and paradoxes that most people miss, feeling vulnerable, misunderstood, different…
The truth is, no one can understand you better than another sensitive person, because only we know the depth of the feelings and the vivid inner life of the sensitive soul. That’s why I want to help through the articles, worksheet and e-book that I’ve created having in mind the struggles, desires, challenges and dreams of highly sensitive people.
I believe everyone has the right to be happy, wealthy and loved.
I think you deserve to have a meaningful, fulfilling relationship with a person who truly loves you – a relationship that will encourage you to be the best version of yourself.
I believe you can have an incredible lifestyle, where comfort, beauty, luxury, travel and whatever else is meaningful for you is a constant part of your life.
I am also convinced that you want to grow – to develop yourself on a physical, emotional, mental or spiritual level, so you can open new doors in the corridor of life, each leading to a fresh, enriching life experience.
My mission is to tell you through my writing that all of this is possible for you.
You don’t need to be become less sensitive, more arrogant, to cut down on your imagination and intuition in order to fit in. I’m here to prove to you that you can be sensitive and successful and you can thrive by being exactly who you are. Some of the most popular inventors, artists, celebrities and leaders of all time are highly sensitive people and they have made it – despite, or rather, because of their sensitivity.
I am a firm believer that we can equally preserve our sensitive nature – our tenderness, kindness, empathy and insight but also strengthen our resilience, flexibility, persistence and ability to stand up for ourselves. We can express and share our hidden treasure, the gift of our sensitivity, with the world but also learn how to protect it and cope with life’s challenges in a way that works for us.
Today the ideas of emotional intelligence and soft power become more and more popular and it’s only a matter of time till people with heightened sensitivity are highly regarded as they once were. Until then, accept your path, walk it, conquer it, take it in, and most of all, live it fully.
There area many resources on the blog – inspirational articles, which I regularly write and send via Newsletter, my new e-book Sweet, Sexy, Sensitive – the highly sensitive person’s guide to a magnificent love story, and the worksheet How to Set Boundaries. I’ve put a lot of thought and love in them and will be glad if you read them and find them useful.
I hope this is just the beginning of our relationship.
And I would love to learn more about you. To stay connected, you can sign up to the Newsletter to receive the latest updates and follow me on social media for regular doses of motivation and positivity. If you have a question, send me an email or take advantage of the Personalized Advice option.
And as we’re getting to know each other better, here are 5 random facts about me:
